Logistical Support

We give support and assistance to the University community by providing excellent logistical customer service in the delivery and removal of essential University property.

· Conduct office moves for faculty and staff.

· Clear items from spaces for construction/renovation projects.

· Deliver items from Central Receiving

· Install commercial grade tents and set-up events.

During normal business hours (M-F 7:30 am to 4:30 pm), we will charge a flat rate of $25 per staff hour.

  • After hours and on weekend, we charge 1.5 (overtime rate) of the $25.  This would be $37.50 per staff hour.
    • The Department will not be able to dictate the number of staff needed for an event.
    • The $25 should be easy for the department and our staff to estimate the charges to do the installation and dismantling during normal working business hours.
  • President Tent
    • President Tent(s) on the mansion lawn will be charged at direct labor cost of our staff.

Renting of tables and chairs:

  • When departments use our tables and chairs the rate will be as follows:
    • Tables:  $8 per table for three days.  Each set of three days after would be an additional $8 per table for each 3 days of use.
    • High boy Tables:  $8 per table for three days.  Each set of three days after would be an additional $8 per table for each 3 days of use. We only have 4 of these available.
    • Tablecloths: $12 for each.
    • Chairs:  $2 per chair for three days.  Each set of three days after would be an additional $2 per chair for each 3 days of use.
    • Stage Fee: $15 each for three days rental.
    • Table + Tablecloth: $20.00

Definition of Special Events:

  • Any work that is done after hours and/or on weekends.  The rate will be $37.50 per staff hour.

Special Event Items:

    • Tents, tables, chairs, and stages done during and/or afterhours and/or on weekends.  (As a reminder, our stages are not meant for outdoor use.  If there is a chance of any rain or a weather event, our stages are not waterproof or water resistant.
  • These types of work request should be classified as reimbursable.
